Anyone know how to get into the Department of Human Services as a Human Services Assistant? I am starting school next week and need to know how to work my way into this area. I will get an AAS and go to the University in the Winter of 2011.

you know what i wish i could help you because i have one fucked up smile lol but i think its kind of weird how you dont know people and you just ask them for money especially online. i hope you dont lose your place and i wish you the best but your not the only one that goes through this i walk past people everyday sleepin on the streets and begging for change. you need to understand that life is hard for EVERYONE now. so stop climbing on everyones back and taking advantage of people and learn to depend on yourself not every body around you because right now WE ARE ALL TRYING TO MAKE IT!!!

My name is Carolyn and I am a university student in Economic and Political Science. I'm in my third year, so I have 1 more year to go. I am coming from a low income family and as you can imagine, I cannot pay my tuition. My father is on welfare... him and my mom are separated and my mom won't help pay for my schooling…
I was refused government help, and I applied for many student lines of credits, but no bank would approve me. They wouldn’t approve me because I have not established credit and because I need someone to co-sign for me. The thing is that with my father on welfare and my grandmother on her pension plan.... they do not qualify to be co-signers.
I am left with nothing right now. So far, I have a part time job that only covers my rent and my food. I have been paying for my tuition with credit cards, and now they are all maxed out and I can barely make the monthly payments....
I want to finish school and do something with my life. I know that once I graduate I can pay back my debts! I need HELP!! I have 1 more year to go... I don't know who to turn to anymore...

Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my son, Travis. He will be attending the University of Missouri Rolla this coming fall semster of 2007. He is currently enrolled in high school in Marysville California and is in the top 10% of his class. He also recently attended a visitation day at UMR and took 2 math tests and scored in the top10% of incoming freshmen in the last 5 years. He has chosen to go to UMR because he would like to major in Engineering, Aerospace is his first choice, and Rolla has one of the best undergraduate programs available in the U.S. for Engineers. Because he will be attending as an out-of-state student his tuition is rather expensive. Currently we have applied for and recieved financial aid and a few scholarships but we are still a little under half of the $26,000 he will need to attend his first year. Hello. I live and study dentistry in Holland, Utrecht, and I have lived there for about 6 months. I live in an apartment, and bike to University everyday. With the only job I can get that I have time for, I only get just about enough for food and rent. However, since I had to buy a whole load of school materials, Iv'e been forced to miss out on 3 months of rent. Thank god I dont have to pay for utilities though. I have tried to take out a loan, but because I dont have a good paying fulltime job, I cant take one out, and Im not allowed to use my government loan on anything except for tuition costs. Not even on school materials, so I have to pay those out of my own money. My friends have managed to scrounge out about 200 euros, but even so I still owe my landlord 700 euros. I tired asking my parents back in the US but there is no way they can come up with that kind of money. I tried talking to my landlord about it, but he told me that either I pay or I get kicked out and he drags me to court for the money I owe. I have nowhere else I can live, as I dont know very many people around here, definitely no one who I could move in with, and even so, I would still owe my landlord the money. I have tried to downsize to a cheaper apartment, but this one is one of the cheapest in the area and I was really lucky to get it. All I am asking of you people is for a little bit of money so that I can atleast convince my landlord that I can stay there, as if I end up on the street there is no way I can continue the study I have worked so hard for in High School to achieve. I am currently a Junior at DeVry University.  I have 1 more year to go and I will have my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.  I am so close to finishing, but I can't afford to pay for the last year.  Please understand that I am trying everything that I can to finish so that I can provide a great life for my 3 children.  I have a wonderful husband who is working 2 full-time jobs, I was recently laid off from my full-time job.  With a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, I will be able to have a great career and bring in $40,000+ a year.  This would be absolutely wonderful for my family and I.  This is extremely hard for me to ask people for help, but I really want to finish school, have a great career, provide for my family, and raise happy and healthy children.  If you are able to help, THANK YOU!  If you can't help, THANK YOU as well for even considering it.

     I was in Chapman's master's/credentialing program. I was expelled from Chapman with only one semester left to go. I had an argument with two professors regarding where I would be doing my student teaching who then, in turn, wrote a total of eight pages of complete lies and slander about me. It went before the Student Review Board-which was made up of four professors who work intimately with these two professors. How biased is that??? The next day they voted on my expulsion. I then appealed to the provost, but to no avail. I then went to the dean of the department who gave me an offer: "If you voluntarily leave the program I will pull the letter from your file." I told him that those letters of lies should not even be in existence. I told him I would not voluntarily leave. He said “Sorry” and I was expelled.
     When I first went to the review board I came with all my documents that disputed everything these professors wrote, plus I had a 3.6 GPA and was never in trouble academically or socially, but it meant nothing to them. Those professors’ lies were gold in their eyes. I cannot afford a lawyer and have called many to see if I could get one on a contingency, but so far no such luck. I have found that a private school is an oligarchy. Thay can do whatever the hell they want. Now I am at square one with a $46,000 loan. Does anybody know how I can obtain justice????????

I am looking for money for Grad School.  I have good marks and a great resume for the program i am interested in.  I have those in the field arround me telling me that i can be an asset to the field.  However i dont have the funds to go to grad school.  Where can i go to Find $$ for school (grants, schlorships, loans)

I am a 20 year old male from North Dakota. After a rocky education past I have know enrolled into a Community and Technical College. I love school, my area of interest happens to be psychology, and I want to continue on to a University and major in psychology but I CAN'T pay for it. My mother has passed away and my dad is a drunk. I have tried taking out loans but I am denied because it says that my father has to high of an income. But I do not see a cent of this money. Please Help Me.
